Thank you for joining our family of Brand Ambassadors.
The following terms and conditions apply to individuals who are accessing or using the Program both as a merchant (“we” or “merchant”) and an affiliate (“you” or “affiliate”) who influences or guides customers to order products from the Ethnic Expressions website.
By participating in the Program, Affiliate agrees to use the Program in the manner specified in, and are bound by, these Terms and Conditions.
If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions in their entirety, you are not authorized to register as an Affiliate or participate in the Brand Ambassador Program in any manner.
1. Approval or Denial of Registrations
We reserve the right to approve or reject ANY Affiliate application based upon our discretion and our responsibility to protect the Ethnic Expressions brand in the marketplace. Prospective affiliates will no legal recourse in the event their application is denied.
2. Affiliate Links and Coupons
Affiliate links are automatically generated, but you can also generate an affiliate link for a specific product or collection. If a person clicks on someone else’s referral link and then later they click on yours, your link (the last one clicked on) will be the one that is tracked and credited with any sales.
Affiliates may or may not be assigned to one coupon code with details and usage clarified on Dashboard.
If customers click on your affiliate link and use your affiliate coupon code, you will not receive double commission. If you’re not assigned a branded coupon, then you’re not allowed to promote the coupon.
Affiliates may advertise merchant website on online channels such as Facebook, Instagram,... or offline classified channel ads, magazines, and newspapers.
3. Commissions and payment
Refer any customer to make a purchase on our website, you will receive a commission amount which is calculated based on Commission structure. The commission amount is dependent on the actual order value, and does not include extra fees such as sales tax and shipping.
To receive commission, affiliates must specify the payment details in Settings. The commission payment schedule is indicated on the Affiliate Guide page.
Payments will only be sent for transactions that have been successfully completed.
Use of the Affiliate Program is subject to a fair use policy which gives the merchant the right to review each and every referral order.
The status of any commissions due will be displayed in the Commissions tab.
All paid commissions will be listed in the Payments tab.
Transactions that result in charge backs or refunds will not be paid out, or if they have been paid out, will be subtracted from future commissions.
4. Marketing tool
We may share promotional media such as banners, logos or specific collections of image files through the Marketing tools tab. You can download the media or get the HTML embed code in order to share on social media platforms, or via email.
5. Network
If Network tab is activated, affiliates can invite others to become their downline affiliate.
If a downline affiliate has a sale, the upline affiliate also receives a commission on the sale per the Ethnic Expressions compensation plan.
To invite other affiliates into the system, share your network link with them. Prospective affiliates who click on that link, and sign up, will become a downline affiliate.
6. Cookies
We use cookies to track people who click on your link, so they need to allow cookies in order for us to track them.
If a customer does not allow cookies, or clears their cookies, Ethnic Expressions cannot track them and cannot pay commission on that customer's order.
A cookies "active time period" is indicated on the Affiliate registration form. The time period will start from the time a customer clicks on the affiliate’s link or uses the coupon. Within the active time period, every order made by this customer on the Ethnic Expressions website will automatically result in commissions to the affiliate. There’s no need for the customer to click on the affiliate link then.
7. Removal from the Affiliate Program
If an affiliate wishes to be removed from the affiliate program, they can do so by contacting: b.johnson@ethnicexpressions.com
